Receipts Documents

Item receiving documents can be used with warehouse bins, either with a purchase order only, in simple location configurations, or with a warehouse receipt, in case of semi or fully automated processing of the warehouse at the bin.

In the lines of the reception document we have a set of new fields for indicating quantities in variable unit of measure.

The fields are the followings:

• Variable Measured Quantity. This field is taken from the "Variable Measured Quantity" data in the purchase order lines.

• Variable Measurement Unit Code. This field is informative. It is used to show the user which is the variable unit defined in the item.

Posted Warehouse Receipt Documents

If you have selected the "Use sheet. work. put-away" field on the location card and you have posted the reception with calculated direct transits, all the receipts lines lines are available on the worksheet. Direct transit information is lost and cannot be recreated. Therefore, if you want to use the direct transit functionality, you must pass the lines to the location worksheet by deleting the location instructions instead of using the automatic step function provided by the Use Location sheet field.

If you enter the warehouse receipt ad have not selected the field "Use sheet. work. put-away", the items for which direct transit is to be performed appear as separate lines in the put-away instruction. The Direct transit information field for each bin lines shows whether the line contains direct transit items, items of the same receipt that have to be stored, or items that have to be stored that come from a receiving line where some items are to be direclty transited. With this field, employees cam easily see why the entire quantity received has not been placed in the location.

In the lines of the posted receiving document we have a set of new fields to indicate quantities in variable unit of measure.

The fields are the following:

• Variable Measured Quantity. This field is brought from the receipt document.

• Variable Measurement Unit Code.

If the reception has been posted and we navigate by the posted delivery note of purchase we find some new tables related to the double unit of measure.

These tables are:

• VUM Ledger Entry
• Warehouse Entry VUM.

In item movement has been extended with new fields related to the double unit of measure.

• Variable Measured Quantity.
• Variable Measurement Unit Code.

In Warehouse Movement, has been extended with new fields related to the double unit of measure.

• Variable Measured Quantity.
• Variable Measurement Unit Code.
